Winters are quite harsh in our field areas in Panna, Madhya Pradesh. As temperatures plummet to single digits, the children of the village are finding new ways to keep warm and carry on with their education.
In the evenings, before settling down for their lessons at our after-school learning centre, the children gather together to do physical exercises, preparing themselves for attentive learning while keeping the cold at bay.
The biting cold may be a formidable opponent, but it hasn't deterred our young learners. Despite the harsh conditions, we haven't seen any dip in the attendance figures at our evening classes. Their enthusiasm for learning continues to warm our hearts.
