We recently conducted a language training workshop to enhance the skills of our community educators working with children from marginalised Adivasi communities in Madhya Pradesh.
The sessions covered a wide range of topics – from Hindi grammar and basic photography to soil testing, analog forestry, and developing biodiversity management plans. It was a journey of deep learning and meaningful growth for the youth educators from Dhaatri’s Bal Angans.
They also participated in hands-on activities, crafting birds from dry leaves and sticks, and making toys for children using old cloth and scrap materials. This workshop was our way of nurturing the nurturers – because when our educators grow, so do our children.
