Children in Ganj Basoda Explore and Connect with Nature

ree

Children from our Bal Angans in Ganj Basoda regularly go on nature walks through nearby forests, engaging with their local ecosystem through active observation and exploration. Recent photos capture these activities.

Armed with curiosity and keen eyes, children identify and document birds, insects, and plants — recognising different species by their appearance, sounds, and footprints. They learn to distinguish tree leaves and bark, the shapes of bird beaks, insect footprints, and medicinal herbs, building their understanding of local biodiversity through hands-on experience.

Our aim with these regular activities with the children in Bal Angans is to foster a connection with nature, nurture curiosity, and develop ecological awareness.
