Skillshares with Adivasi Women

We organize skillshares and training on laws, governance and women's rights with Adivasi women community leaders to support their local actions. Our current trainings include understanding of the Forest Rights Act and entitlements of women, land inheritance rights, social security schemes, gender impact assessment of extractives and conservation projects and strengthening women's knowledge practices. Cross learnings between communities give opportunities for exchange of skills and strategies and we see these platforms as amplifying the voices of the indigenous women and their resource rights.
