We have launched a pilot initiative to support Adivasi school dropouts to learn livelihood skills and explore safer, dignified work options. We’ve started with training in tailoring, stitching techniques and patterns, and basic sewing machine operations.
Many Gond Adivasi children in Panna drop out of school to become additional earning members or to manage household responsibilities, often ending up in daily wage labour in construction or mining. This initiative is a small step to open up safer and more sustainable livelihood options through new skills and greater confidence.
