In Panna, Ganj Basoda, and Adilabad, we have set-up Bal Angans, where children can go after school to engage in playful and interactive learning activities. These centres serve as a complement to the education provided in government schools, helping to bridge any learning gaps caused due to the challenges faced by the community. Our barefoot educators at these centres focus on age-specific and class-specific levels, incorporating games, activities, art, and basic subject lessons, ensuring that the children receive holistic education.

To aid children's learning and well-being, we recently launched a nutrition outreach programme for Adivasi children of mine worker communities, with support from Work with Dignity Foundation. Adivasi women from the community have taken on the responsibility of preparing traditional recipes for the children using seasonal, locally sourced, and nutrient-rich produce. Apart from providing essential nutrition, this is also a step towards helping the children remain connected to their cultural heritage through the traditional recipes.
