Children in Vidisha's Stone Mining Areas Get Learning Kits

Children from stone mining affected villages in Madhya Pradesh's Vidisha district, mostly from the Adivasi Saharia community, received learning kits as part of Dhaatri's community education programme. Around 400 students from classes 1 to 8 were given books, slates, and other essential stationery supplies.

The programme was started in mining-affected villages in order to help children whose education was severely impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. We thank the Friends of Waldorf Education, Germany and our supporters for helping us bring children back into school through our joyful education activities and community libraries.
